Very good bit if your horse has a good mouth. Low leverage shanks combined with a medium control mouthpiece is a great combination. Copper causes the horse’s mouth to salivate to help keep it soft and supple to the rider. Mullen relief mouth for even pressure across the bars and tongue and eliminates the nut cracker effect.
Copper is a soft metal – check for signs of excessive wear before each use.
Moving from Direct Reining to Neck Reining?
Stage B is all about transition, with the introduction of leverage and curb pressure. Short shanked bits and half-gags comprise Stage B.
